Two separate thresholds

Applicants must first meet the Federal Skilled Worker eligibility test and then be competitive within Express Entry. Passing one does not guarantee the other.

Frequently asked questions

Is 67 points the CRS cut-off?

No. The 67-point grid determines basic FSW eligibility; the CRS is a separate ranking system used in Express Entry.

Does meeting the basic criteria guarantee approval?

No. Eligibility is only the first question. Selection, documentary sufficiency, admissibility and the decision-maker’s assessment all affect the outcome.

Can requirements change while I prepare?

Yes. Immigration programs, forms, fees and instructions change regularly. Current official requirements should be confirmed before filing.

Can Azimi Immigration assess my situation?

Yes. A consultation can identify the facts that matter, available routes, material risks and the scope of professional assistance that may be appropriate.
